The Inland Tax Revenue Board (LHDN) has announced that from 1st January 2023, for all tax related payments, taxpayers must now quote Bill Number as reference. This applies to all payments except PCB and Stamp Duty payments.
A grace period of 6 months has been given, ending on the 30th of June 2023. During this grace period, taxpayers will also be allowed to use their TIN and tax reference numbers when making payments.
With their bill numbers, taxpayers will be able to make payments online as well as at LHDN service counters.
Bill numbers can be generated via mytax.hasil.gov.my
